‘Finding Ground’
Solo Exhibition
The works in this exhibition are exploring the experience of feeling uprooted, where familiar comforts have been disrupted. The work aims to convey a sense of a slipping balance between clarity and chaos, mirroring the feeling of being untethered.
How does one make sense of their surroundings without a fixed point of reference?
The work plays with perspective and subject matter, seeking to investigate concepts of attention and overexposure. In the absence of a familiar anchor one must revaluate and decide what deserves their attention. How should I feel about what I’m seeing and perhaps even what I don't see? What should I be caring about? And how can I translate these priorities into meaningful action? Ultimately, the works are an attempt to find a sense of solace in uncertainty and harmony within chaos.
Find your feet. Find your ground.
